So back in my high school days, when I wasn’t cast in shows, I would take the promotional stills for the productions.
Mind you, this was two crappy Canon cameras ago so the quality isn’t anything like my present work.
These stills are from my high school’s production of ZOMBIE PROM.
I’ve decided to do a ‘Throwback Thursday’ series on the photography blog! I have lots of pictures I used to do for family, as freelance, as projects, etc. before establishing ‘Photography in a Box.’ I think it’d be fun for me to share!
First up in the series is a wedding shoot I did a little over three years ago! I was for my cousin, Veronica who got married to James in San Antonio at the Bexar County Courthouse.
It was very adorable and right in the calm center of the city. It was a beautiful red courthouse with a beautiful courtyard with a fountain!
For their one month anniversary since their marriage, Monnika and Josh wanted to do something fun to celebrate! So they had a fun paint fight in the park! I swear, these two didn’t have to be told anything like “smile” or “hug.” They just did it and I would just keep snapping photos! SO MUCH FUN SHOOTING THESE TWO!
And of course I got the before and after… :)
This past week, I took a quick trip to my hometown of San Angelo. While there, I spent a lot of time with my best friend Cruz who wanted some pictures done after she heard I wanted to get into photography at a more serious level.
So I took some pictures. Let me tell you, she is super photogenic and just natural in front of a camera. I don’t tell her to pose or anything, I just catch her doing something and SNAP. I get the picture. That’s one thing I love with photography is capturing the naturality of the moment in a photo.
I HATE super posed photos.
To see her full session, go like my photography page on Facebook and check out her album!
Starting up the blog for my photography. This is to showcase shoots that I do plus little side photography projects.
